Jamie spent many childhood summers exploring the backroads of Canada in an old VW bus with hippie parents. Long drives across the prairies and through the Rocky Mountains were always accompanied by music. As the landscapes sped by, she listened to everything from the slow poetic musings of Leonard Cohen to the mystical Indian era of the Beatles to explosive female vocalists like Aretha and Janis. Funky, soulful greats like James Brown, Sly & the Family Stone, Sister Sledge, and Stevie Wonder began to inform her love of music and continue to do so to this day.

Jamie was introduced to house music in Thailand and Goa in the 90s where DJs were infusing their sets with ethnic beats from around the globe. Inspired by this diverse range, Jamie continues to weave a tapestry of sound, combining her love of the rich and tribal rhythms of house music with a deep appreciation for the history, evolution, integrity and musicianship of old-school funk, disco and soul and jazz.

Jamie's passion is to create soulfully-infused music which uplifts and brings people together.
